The Coastline Atlas: Marmara focuses on selected projects and environmental conditions that have altered the waterscapes inland or at sea around Marmara. Following the cartographic narrative, it introduce a background to the evolution of port geography in history; and discuss topics that have been recently debated about urban commons, such as the Melen fresh water supply project, the new Istanbul Airport, Canal Istanbul Project, Island of Democracy and Freedom, and the Marmara Sea snot crisis.
