Movement & Time
This class introduces how to produce time-based media at the intersection of mapping, psychogeography, mobility, performance, and spatial narratives. While touching on references from the an art-science-technnology complex, this course examines video as a medium to learn from, and to produce personal geographies. It is structured to investigate time and movement in multiple temporal and spatial scales. It is going to follow four practice based assignment modules: Movement of Pause, Movement of Body, Movement in Space, and a Final Project that is going to be a narrative/non-narrative video designed by the student.
